• What is the rubber cup bottom?

Rubber trees are a kind of tree, extracts a latex which is used to be transformed into rubber. The product is coagulated latex in cups with the help of which it is collected. We can also export natural rubber, it’s the bottom of a rubber tree cup worked at the factory. Clearly, from cup bottom that has already undergone a first transformation.  

• Harvesting

Harvest begins with a fine incision in the bark of the tree. This operation allows to section vessels laticifers, from which the latex will flow. He will be collected in cups placed in below the grooved notch. The most common frequency is one bleed every 4 days, the latex will renewing in the laticifers after the harvest. Rubber can be harvested at liquid state – latex – or after field coagulation (cup bottoms). He is then sent to the factory.  

• Treatment process.

  At the factory, the bottoms of cups are stored several weeks in bunkers before being machined. Then this raw material is washed, mixed, cutted and dried repeatedly to finally be compressed into bales of 35 kg. Throughout the machining process, a strict respect for standards qualities guarantees conformity with the requirements of end users.
